COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTIONS FOR TACKLING MODERN CYBER THREATS AT THE INFOSEK 2024 CONFERENCE

At the beginning of September, the INFOSEK 2024 conference took place in Nova Gorica, the largest event in Slovenia in the field of information security. Our team actively participated in the event, where we presented the latest approaches to protection against cyberattacks with a lecture titled “Comprehensive Solutions for Modern Cyber Threats.”

One of the key topics of our lecture was the presentation of the CIS Critical Security Controls, a set of best practices for cybersecurity developed by the Center for Internet Security (CIS). These control measures help companies improve their cyber resilience by protecting against the most common and dangerous threats. The structured implementation of these measures enables companies to more effectively defend against increasingly sophisticated attacks.

In addition, we presented key solutions from the Fortinet Security Operations Portfolio, which includes innovative tools for detecting and responding to attacks:

• FortiDeceptor is a solution that uses deception technology to detect intruders in the network. By setting up fake systems and devices, it lures attackers to reveal themselves before reaching the company’s critical systems.
• FortiNDR (Network Detection and Response) uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect anomalies and suspicious activities in the network. It is an advanced security solution that enables companies to proactively defend against threats.
• FortiRecon is designed to protect against threats outside the organizational network. This digital risk protection allows for the detection and response to cyber threats before they reach the company’s internal network.
• FortiSIEM is a comprehensive solution for security information and event management. By collecting and analyzing data from various sources, it enables companies to monitor network activities in real-time and quickly detect and respond to threats.

The INFOSEK 2024 conference was not only an opportunity to showcase technical solutions but also a chance to exchange experiences and views on the latest trends in cybersecurity. At our booth, we met with many professionals and discussed the challenges companies face in establishing cybersecurity. The conference provided an excellent opportunity for an in-depth insight into the future of protection against cyber threats and to strengthen our position among the leading providers in this field.
