DEVELOPMENT OF A SMART FACADE THAT REDUCES CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSIONS BY UP TO 75%
The Staticus CARE project focuses on developing smart facades that can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 75 percent and energy consumption from non-renewable sources by up to 56 percent. The use of wood instead of aluminum and the integration of IoT sensors enable a sustainable facade design. Smart facades contribute to improving the energy efficiency of buildings, which are the main energy consumers in the European Union. The Slovenian company ADD is an important partner in the development of a data platform that enables monitoring and analysis of data using sensors, algorithms, and artificial intelligence.
