INVITATION TO THE ANNUAL ADD CONFERENCE 2025, WHICH WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 16, 2025, AT FUŽINE CASTLE

The year has come full circle, and ADD is once again announcing the traditional annual conference. We kindly invite you to register. The ADD Annual Conference will take place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Fužine Castle (Rusjanov trg 7, Ljubljana). Seats are limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible. You can read the detailed agenda of the event below.

TOPIC: FOUNDATIONS FOR SECURE AND DATA-DRIVEN BUSINESS

The links between data, artificial intelligence, and cyber resilience today represent key foundations for ensuring a safe and stable digital future. With various speakers, we will discuss the challenges companies face in data management and the use of AI, and how appropriate approaches can strengthen security mechanisms and reduce risks. Through concrete insights and practical experience accumulated over many years, we will present strategies for long-term resilience in a rapidly changing digital environment.

Agenda

9.00 – 9.30 | Arrival and accreditation with coffee

9.30 – 9.45 | Event introduction

9.45 – 11.15 | Data-driven business

Artificial intelligence, especially generative AI (genAI), is currently one of the hottest topics in all fields. We encounter it practically everywhere, and everyone deals with it in their own way. It is often accompanied by high expectations and marketing hype that create pressure for rapid implementation. The key question remains: how to use artificial intelligence in a meaningful and effective way?

We will also address data-driven business, which no longer relies solely on intuition and past experience, but on objective, timely, and relevant data. In a roundtable discussion, experts will talk about how they successfully introduced this way of working in their organizations and how it can provide a competitive advantage, reduce costs, and increase profits.

11.15 – 11.30 | Short break

11.30 – 13.00 | Cyber resilience

A cyber incident? That could never happen to us…
This is a phrase we often hear in practice. But the reality of the digital world is far from predictable. With increasing complexity of information systems, growing sophistication of cyber threats, and the unavoidable human factor, information security has become a key priority for modern organizations.

A representative from SI-CERT will introduce last year’s cybersecurity report.

With experts, we will delve into security guidelines that every organization can implement. The discussion will highlight practical risk reduction practices and approaches to building more resilient and adaptable systems. Through practical examples and selected simulations, we will demonstrate how these activities contribute to better understanding vulnerabilities and shaping effective response strategies.

13.00 – 13.45 | SOMETHING FOR HOME

A guest lecture that will take us beyond the world of IT

From 14.00 onwards | Lunch and networking
